We are currently accepting applications for our next Barista Training cohort, expected to run from early September to mid-November! The application period for this cohort is open until Friday, July 31st at 11:59pm

Please take a moment to read through the information below before submitting your application.

Our barista program is all about helping you build a solid foundation in barista skills and general coffee know-how.

To apply, you’ll need to be at least 18 years old by the time the cohort starts.

Once applications close, our Sweet Ren team will review all submissions. We’ll reach out within a week to let you know where things stand. If selected, you’ll be invited to interview with us over the following two weeks. Final decisions will be shared once interviews wrap up.

The next cohort is planned for early September through mid-November. While we do our best to keep things flexible, we do expect participants to attend each week. If you already know you’ll be unavailable or missing a full week or more, we recommend holding off and applying for a future cohort instead!

Barista Skills & Management: I desire hands-on experience to learn more about proper drink preparation and standards for at-home and cafe applications.

Roasting Coffee: I want hands-on experience to learn more about the art and science of transforming green coffee into the flavorful and aromatic experience so many people enjoy.

Education & Training: I know some things about specialty coffee but want to deepen my knowledge and expand access to it in my home community.

Packaging, Delivery, & Wholesale Partners: I am interested in learning more about the considerations it takes to share roasted coffee beans across geographies.

Coffee Company Ownership: I am considering starting a coffee business and want to know how to build a brand, where to begin, and learn from people who have done so.
